Where is my beach chair?
Where is my favorite drink?
Where is my sunscreen?
...are the only questions you have to ask when visiting Redington Beach! The beach is beautiful, and it wasn't very busy when we were there.
We flew in to Tampa, rented a car and drove a short distance to Redington Beach. We chose to stay at Angler's Cove in a three bedroom, 3 bathroom condo right on the beach. We went with two other couples, so this was a perfect setup. Click HERE for more information.
Here are some of the things we found to do at the Redington Beach area:
HANG OUT AT THE BEACH!
2. ENJOY THE VIEWS FROM YOUR BALCONY WHILE EATING LUNCH
Angler's Cove states that all their condos have an ocean view. This is the view we saw of the ocean and the pool. We had a nice balcony with a table and enough chairs for all of us to use. I liked being able to see how many people were at the pool before we went down. There was also a hot tub (as seen on the left of this photo) There are bathrooms in the building by the pool on the right side.
We even had a visitor on our balcony one day!
3. ATTEND A BASEBALL GAME
We managed to break away from the beach and went to watch a Clearwater Threshers baseball game. The lighting was terrible on this photo, but this is our group: Sharon, Kelby, Carl, Karen, Denise and James. We have traveled many places with this group. Find yourself a fun group of people to travel with!
This is the Clearwater Threshers mascot, Phinley, watching the game.
4. EAT BY THE SEA
There are lots of great restaurants where you can sit by the sea and enjoy the views.
5. ENJOY THE SUN SETTING OVER THE OCEAN
6. DO SOME BIRD WATCHING
7. FIND A QUIET SPOT ON THE BEACH
8. EAT AT SWEET SAGE CAFE
Sweet Sage Cafe, 6725 Gulf Blvd, North Redington Beach, Florida. I loved this place so much, so I took several photos. Find more information HERE.
9. GO ON A BOAT TOUR WITH: Florida Tiki Tours
You can find these octagon tiki boats at John's Pass. Find more information HERE.
10. GO TO: John's Pass Village & Boardwalk
Lots of shops, restaurants and bars. See more information HERE.
Homes of the rich and famous we saw on our tiki tour
11. GO UNDER THE DRAWBRIDGE AT JOHN'S PASS
12: EAT OYSTERS AND OTHER SEAFOOD
13. MAKE MEMORIES WITH SOMEONE YOU LOVE!
The best thing you can do while on vacation is to reconnect and make memories!
