13 Things to Do at Redington Beach, Florida

by Sharon Harrison

Where is my beach chair?

Where is my favorite drink?

Where is my sunscreen?

...are the only questions you have to ask when visiting Redington Beach! The beach is beautiful, and it wasn't very busy when we were there.

We flew in to Tampa, rented a car and drove a short distance to Redington Beach. We chose to stay at Angler's Cove in a three bedroom, 3 bathroom condo right on the beach. We went with two other couples, so this was a perfect setup. Click HERE for more information.

Here are some of the things we found to do at the Redington Beach area:

  1. HANG OUT AT THE BEACH!

2. ENJOY THE VIEWS FROM YOUR BALCONY WHILE EATING LUNCH

Angler's Cove states that all their condos have an ocean view. This is the view we saw of the ocean and the pool. We had a nice balcony with a table and enough chairs for all of us to use. I liked being able to see how many people were at the pool before we went down. There was also a hot tub (as seen on the left of this photo) There are bathrooms in the building by the pool on the right side.

We even had a visitor on our balcony one day!

3. ATTEND A BASEBALL GAME

We managed to break away from the beach and went to watch a Clearwater Threshers baseball game. The lighting was terrible on this photo, but this is our group: Sharon, Kelby, Carl, Karen, Denise and James. We have traveled many places with this group. Find yourself a fun group of people to travel with!
